Cardiff is the biggest and most populous city of Wales. It is part of the network of Euro cities and it is where the historic Glamorgan County is. Discovering Cardiff will bring you to a lot of interesting places of history.

Cardiff Castle

This castle is known all over the globe. The medieval masterpiece mirrors the rich history of the city. You can wonder at the Clock Tower, designs, and stones by joining an organized tour during the day or just by strolling around the picturesque structure.

Castle Coch

This is another castle fit for the fairytales. It was built by William Burges for the Marquis of Bute who was a strong supporter of the Medieval. Because of its beauty, Castle Coch was featured in several television series and big movies.

Cardiff Bay

The old docklands of Cardiff were developed to create the scenic bay. Tourists can take the water bus and see the splendor of the Mermaid Quay, St. David’s Hotel and Spa, or enjoy some of the famous water sports activities.

Cardiff National Museum

The museum houses a very large collection of Impressionist paintings. This is attributed to the donation of art pieces owned by Welsh sisters during the mid twentieth century. Works of Monet, Renoir, and Cezanne among others are on display.

Wales Millennium Center

If you are into plays, ballets, musicals, or operas, this is the best place to go to. There are also art sherpas who can give you a tour of the facility and the backstage area.

Queens Arcade

This is the shopping haven in Cardiff. Just proximate to the Cardiff castle, locals and tourists can find their best deals for gadgets, furniture, clothes, or get a good hang out spot in some of the coolest pubs.
